The shop is about to reopen, and we are SO excited to be offering a gaggle of fun new classes! We’ve gone through your surveys and really taken your suggestions to heart. Take a look at the class descriptions here and click through the links to sign up online. You can also sign up in person starting Friday, January 17th, when our shop finally REOPENS!!!
3 Saturdays: January 25, February 1, February 8
11 am – 1 pm
Learn the essentials of crochet in this introductory class. You will learn how to begin, how to create the most common stitches, how to read a crochet pattern, how to fasten off, and how to hide your ends. You will come away with a fever to crochet more, plus a darling sampler pillow!
3 Saturdays: January 25, February 1, February 8
2 pm – 4 pm
The most basic of prints, the linocut involves very few tools and works wonderfully with simple designs and single color runs. In this class you will learn how to design, carve, and print your own linocut designs onto flat cards.

3 Sundays: January 26, February 2, February 9
2 pm- 4 pm
Somewhere between scrapbooking and journaling, this new art form is the ideal way to capture life’s memories and stories all in one place. Combine photographs with journal entries, use upcycled paper, beautiful fabric, or anything else that helps tell your story. Bring a stack of photos/ paper/ memorabilia that you’d like to use. All journal materials will be provided, but feel free to bring your own materials as well.
This class is a wonderful way to get away from the chaos of the home to get some memory-making done, so please leave the wee ones at home.

3 Saturdays: February 15, February 22, March 1
11 am – 1 pm
If the clicking of knitting needles sounds like a secret language to you, then this class is for you! You will learn to cast on, knit, purl, and bind off like a pro. Come away with a mug cozy and a new hobby.

3 Sundays: February 16, February 23, March 2
11 am- 1 pm
In this class we will learn to use a sewing machine, read a simple pattern, pin, cut, press, and use a zipper foot. You will come away with a darling and very handy zip pouch.
We will be learning on the shop machine, which is a Singer Confidence. Singers are quite universal and easy to understand, but if you have your own machine that you would prefer to learn with please sign up for a private lesson.

Whether your goal is to save money, reduce the use of chemicals in your home, or to fill your house with natural scents, this class will give you a whole new way to get started on Spring cleaning! We will make natural cleaners that will smell so good and will work so well that you will never want walk down a supermarket cleaning supply aisle ever again! You will come home with one of each: counter spray, toilet cleaner, grout cleaner, and glass spray, complete with beautiful labels, plus recipes for even more cleaning goodies!
