We had our first skirt-making class this past Saturday and it was a blast. My students were so wonderful to work with, and made some seriously adorable skirts. The neat thing about this class was that mom and daughter, Gail and Naomi, had only just taken our Learn to Sew class a few days before! And they both did an amazing job. They are proof that learning to sew really is just a jumping off point. You can walk in without any idea how to use a machine, and walk out with a life long skill. How cool is that?!
